THE CLASSIC NELSON 18 MOTOR YACHT (NEW BOAT)The Nelson 18 is now back in production at Nelson Motor Yachts' workshops in Emsworth. She is available in Open Launch (£39,995+VAT) and Cabin (£45,840+VAT) versions with Electric or Diesel propulsion at the same price and uses the original Halmatic hull & superstructure mold tooling with a brand-new GRP interior.Our Zero Emission, 100% Electric Nelson 18s can be charged from any standard 16A Marina socket and can travel for up to 16 hours / 64 nautical miles on one charge.To bring the design up to the latest standards Arthur Mursell, Managing Director of TT Boat Designs, was asked to provide the necessary calculations for RCD approval. Surprisingly, very few changes were needed to enable the original design to pass these new rules as the structure, as originally designed, is inherently very strong. The Nelson 18 is now RCD Category C approved for eight people.All versions of the Nelson 18 now use our nine new internal GRP mouldings that we have developed to make it much cleaner, lower maintenance and easier to use.
